Formulations Intern

Position Details

Phibro Animal Health Corporation is a leading producer of minerals and feed ingredients for the global animal nutrition industry.  We are seeking applicants for a part-time Formulations Coordinator intern position in our Quincy, Illinois office.  This position will coordinate and support the development of our trace mineral premix formulations utilizing the Brill Formulation platform and JD Edwards ERP software.

The successful candidate will assist in creating mineral premix formulas to match customer specifications, reformulate existing premixes, update and maintain our formulation and item number databases within our Brill and ERP programs, and support our formulations and pricing teams with other daily tasks and processes as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Formulations Manager with the Brill Formulation system to create and manage custom formulas.
• Ensure accuracy of formulations and labels.
• Item creation in the JDE ERP system and coordination with associated departments to cover regulatory and quality requirements.
• Develop and create labels in our tags program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Enrollment in a college Chemistry, Math, Biology, or Agriculture program or related field.
• Willingness to participate in a team-oriented and performance-driven work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a self-directed manner.
