Operations – Fleet Manager/Dispatcher
Full-time, day shifts M-F with the flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts when required. Pay based on experience with competitive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of our fleet of Flatbeds and Step Decks ensuring timely and claim-free deliveries.
- Help ensure compliance and conformity with all DOT regulations and laws governing commercial transportation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to dispatch operations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and all internal teams.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and promptly address any service-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Truck or Freight dispatching roles.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with sourcing and planning freight.
- Proficiency in using dispatching software and other relevant tools.
- Solid communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Coordinating vehicle mapping and transportation across the US and Canada.
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts when required.
